Lake Ozone

A mountain lake that is charged by a continuous bolt of lightning. The high altitude environment is always stormy and the risks of being struck by lightning in the surrounding area is higher than any other place on the planet. The island in the center is inaccessible due to the pillar of lightning that surrounds it like a guard. Anyone who attempts to touch it or the water around it are immediately shocked with a lethal amount of electricity. The indigenous people stay as far away from it as possible and have named it “The Eye of God”. However, it has been infamously nicknamed “The Siren Light” since unsuspecting bugs who stare at it for too long are caught in a trance like hypnosis and are lured to their doom.
